BC +10.5 over Montreal
I had this game at Montreal -4 to -9.
A pointspread of 10 is a relatively key number in the CFL - ranking behind "3" and tied with "1" with 5 occurances this season. There have been no 11-point differentials this year. The 10.5 is a good number here IMO
Hard to get a read on Montreal as their last 4 games were meaningless and they faced Winnipeg and Toronto in their last three games. Essentially, with last week's bye they haven't played a meaningful game since beating Calgary October 12.
Montreal has been a machine for most of the year and you could make a number of supporting arguments for them based on the stats alone but I think their locking up first place as early as they did will work against them here.
If history is a factory BC HC Buono has done this before. Look at the 2001 Grey Cup victory versus Winnipeg when he took an 8-10 Calgary and beat a 14-4 team.
Best of luck
